Quarterback

AUB 8 · 8 BAMA

Brown vs Keelon Russell. Dual-threat vs a DeBoer r-freshman with first-round tools.

Offensive line

AUB 6 · 9 BAMA

Alabama's front is the best Auburn will see with Georgia. Ramil has to be a veteran by then.

Skill

AUB 7 · 8 BAMA

Singleton can win a go-ball. Everyone else is coverage bait.

Front seven

AUB 8 · 8 BAMA

Atkins vs Alabama's physical identity. This is why you saved him.

Secondary

AUB 6 · 8 BAMA

Don't get stacked. Russell will throw it over the top if you load the box.

Special teams

AUB 8 · 7 BAMA

McPherson is the hidden phase in a rivalry that always comes down to a kick.

Availability

No official availability report yet. The SEC posts it before kickoff; the desk lists only names from that report.

    What the tape says

    • Atkins as the identity. One wrecked drive in Bryant–Denny is the whole ask.
    • Steal a possession — turnover, fourth-down stand, or a Singleton go-ball.
    • Don't get run out in the first 20 minutes. The crowd feeds on that.
    • McPherson from 45+. Iron Bowls end on kicks.

    History

    • Iron Bowl at Bryant–Denny. No. 13 Alabama. Golesh's first state championship Saturday.
    • Keelon Russell is the r-freshman DeBoer is handing the keys to.
    • Auburn has to steal this, not out-talent it. Atkins is the one name that travels.
